WHAT A YEAR!!!!!
I am officially the world's worst blogger...here it is, well into February, and I am just getting around to making my first post of the year. Well truth be told, I didn't want 2009 to end, we had an AMAZING, CRAZY and FABULOUS year:
•We started off the year with a scare - One January morning, half of Dustin's face became paralyzed to the point that he couldn't even shut or blink his eye. I rushed him to the ER, and he was diagnosed with something called Bell's Palsy. Although the symptoms were scary, and it was an embarrassing and sometimes painful nuisance for Dustin, it was thankfully nothing too serious; it subsided after a few weeks and he regained movement. Although, even after a year, his eye still involuntarily closes every time he yawns. ;oO
• Then in May, we welcomed a new baby girl into our family. She was (and still is) strong, healthy, beautiful, and unlike her sister, FEISTY.
• We had learned a few years ago that Dustin had a half-brother and sister that he had never met, and in June, we used good old facebook to track them down. Dustin contacted them and then he went to Utah in August to meet them for the first time.
• In October, we finally closed on our first home! It is a little small, and there is still a list a mile long of improvements that I would like to make, but it's ours and I love it!
• Also, in October, our family went to the Las Vegas Temple and became sealed for all time and eternity. What an AMAZING experience that was, I hope that Faith will also always remember it.
I feel so blessed. I am so in love with my hubby and kids. I am looking forward to what this year will bring as well: Dustin and I will be celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary this year (man that makes me feel old to say that), our little Reggars will turn one, and Faith will (*GASP*) start kindergarten.
Here are the pictures that I promised last time:
