Okay, this was NOT my idea. I repeat, this was NOT my idea. This was a request from Dustin, he is the sick and demented one who wanted his face on Borat's body, I just thought that it would be a fun challenge to try to figure out how to do it.

A Child's Prayer

Faith's prayer before bed last night:
"Dear Heavenly Father, We are grateful for this day. Please bless our family. Please bless that we can poop every night and every day...and pee..."

Okay, it's nice to be regular and all, but I've never actually heard anyone pray for it. And how do you not start laughing out loud right in the middle of a prayer when your little cutie says something so hilarious? I couldn't help it and neither could Dustin- we both laughed so hard we cried and then had to tell her over and over what a wonderful prayer she gave. I love this age!

Trick-or-Treat, Smell my feet...

Okay, I know I am a little late posting my Halloween pics/blog, but seems like everything is a little late lately. Try not to hold it against me, I may have a very good excuse :o)

Anyway, I was pretty bummed that our ward decided not to have a Trunk-or-Treat this year (instead we had an over-crowded ward "Fall Festival" at the church, which we really could have done without). On Halloween, we went around our own neighborhood and we had a very fun night trick-or-treating with our friends, The Cybulskis. The girls were so excited to show off their costumes and knock on the doors. And it was so cute, they held hands almost the enitre time.
They were experts at getting extra pieces of candy from every house they went too, ya know, they just used that irresistible charm that cute little toddler's posses (or is that called manipulation?) They were getting tons of candy and I wanted to hold Faith's pumpkin basket for her because I thought that it may be getting to heavy, but she was determined to fill it up and carry it herself. (Little Miss Independent)

When we were over half way done, Dustin and Vince thought it would be so funny to teach Faith and Lydia to say "Trick-or-Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat..." So, of course, they did and the girls told several people to smell their feet that night (very nice, Boys!)

After we had been out for about an hour and a half we decided to call it a night and Faith finally gave in and let me hold her valued bucket of candy because it was definitely too heavy for her to carry anymore.

All in all, it was a very fun and successful Candy-getting adventure! I love Halloween!
